For Eldex pumps to function correctly, the outlet pressure must be at least 25 psi higher than the inlet pressure to ensure proper seating of the check valves, which is critical for accurate metering. For example, if the inlet pressure is 25 psi, the outlet pressure needs to be at least 50 psi. If the outlet resistance is lower than the inlet pressure, the fluid will siphon through the pump without metering, resulting in inaccurate flow rates. To avoid this, ensure sufficient outlet resistance (25 psi or more) is applied to enable precise metering.
